Getting Started
The CFCC Corporate Training Center responds to the immediate needs of the business community by providing a full range of services to improve employer and employee performance. Every organization has its challenges. Our job is to help your business obtain whatever it needs to succeed, even when you are not quite sure what that is. We like to use the following three-step process to assist our business customers in meeting their goals.
Step #1:
Front End Analysis
Through front-end analysis, CFCC associates ensure that our customized training meets the true needs of your organization. Sometimes an organization knows exactly what training is needed. Often times, the needs are not clear. CFCC can conduct a collaborative needs analysis to identify what employee skills and performance levels are needed to achieve your business goals. Current performance or employee skills are determined through a variety of tools including interviews, observation, and testing. A training gap analysis compares actual employee skills to skills required for organizational success. The process can also be expanded to develop training plans for new jobs, create better job descriptions, and develop screening processes for new hires.

Step #2:
Business Solutions
Program development and implementation is the next step. The business solution may be customized training, computer on-line learning, improved employee orientation programs, strategic planning, individual coaching or consulting, or any number of other business solutions. If the solution is training, CFCC works closely with your in-house personnel to develop practical courses that directly address your needs. If another option might be more effective, CFCC can provide facilitation, coaching, or consulting services.

Step #3:
Performance
Improvement & Evaluation
One of the most critical steps in program development is the evaluation. Effective evaluation tools allow CFCC and our clients to continuously improve our training and consulting services. Services are evaluated using several levels of evaluation. During class, instructors check learning by asking questions, conducting team activities, and observing changes in attitudes. At the end of each class or activity, employees complete an evaluation form providing input and an initial reaction. Results are tallied and returned quickly to the client. A post evaluation can be conducted after employees have time to implement knowledge and skills on the job. Business impact or return on investment is the ultimate measure. Indicators can include employee retention, increased productivity, problem resolution, and successful project management.

Although CFCC offers open enrollment credit and non-credit courses throughout the year, The Corporate Training Center specializes in customized training at a time, date, and location that is convenient for your business. The Center was founded in 1997 on the principle of providing customized workforce training in Marion, Citrus and Levy counties to meet the immediate needs of our employers.
