CFCC offers a variety of courses in this area focusing on constructive feedback, employee recognition, coaching and mentoring. Today’s high-pressure work environments can result in interpersonal conflicts between team members or between employees and customers. The training center specializes in developing customized leadership programs for your new and existing management team. In fact, CFCC has collaborated with the Marion Regional Manufacturer’s Association to produce beginning and advanced leadership classes for their member companies. Hot leadership training topics cover areas such as effective decision-making, meeting management, change management and out-of-the box thinking. CFCC has created a six-part leadership series focused on the traits that Fortune magazine uses to rank The Best Places to Work in America.

Moving into a management position can often be daunting. Equip yourself and your team members will skills in delegation, performance standard development, project management and other fundamental skills.

 

Performance Management

What are the key ingredients to assure a productive workforce? Managers must know how to set goals, establish work priorities, communicate needs and evaluate performance. These courses are essential for any new or struggling manager.

 

Small Business

Central Florida Community College’s Corporate Training Center, in partnership with the University of Florida Small Business Center (SBDS), offers a series of courses to assist small businesses with start-up and planning. Open enrollment courses are scheduled each term and offered simultaneously as interactive televised (ITV) classes at the Ocala and Citrus County campuses and the Levy County Center. These and additional courses are available on a customized basis.

 

Human Resources

From the intensive Society Human Resource Manager certification program to short courses in critical areas such as interviewing skills and emotional intelligence, these courses help your company recruit and retain employees.
