We offer 18 Express Career Training Programs! These programs take 20 to 210 hours to complete.


Real Estate packageReal Estate

Real Estate Principles and Practices

Course covers the minimum essentials for the new practitioner. Required for all persons seeking real estate certification with the Florida Real Estate Commission. Students must have a high school diploma for GED to sit for the state exam.

Licensed Residential Appraiser

This course provides basic knowledge of residential real estate appraising. Includes the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraiser Practice, and is the required beginning place for all appraisers.

Mortgage Broker

This is a required 24-hour course for the Mortgage Broker's Examination. Topics include FNMA guidelines, credit reports, HUD settlement guide and mortgage broker license law, glossary, forms, and math problems.

Equine Groom School

Whether you want to learn more about your own horse or want to begin a new career in the equine industry, the equine groom school is an excellent place to start.  Receive hands-on instruction and coaching to prepare you to handle all types of horses.  Course covers basic handling and showmanship techniques, care of the horse's environment, grooming, leg care and digestive care.  The program is suitable for all levels of knowledge and experience.  Graduates will be eligible for employment search assistance through Equistaff following course completion.  Contact the coordinator for registration, course packet and class location. 


 

Personal Fitness

Personal Fitness Trainer

Whether a career move or for your own personal benefit, get all the training you need to become a personal fitness trainer.  The course is provided by World Instructor Training Schools and is taught over a six-week period with the national certification exam being held on the final day. The course provides 15 hours of lecture including anatomy and physiology, nutrition, musculoskeletal injuries, health screenings, legal issues and much more. There is also 15 hours of hands-on gym practice included.  A 20-hour internship is coordinated by the instructor following course completion.  This class has a required textbook.  Students must be 18 to take the class.  No refunds will be issued after the class starts.


 

Insurance

2-20 General Lines Agent

This 200-hour course is required for persons seeking to qualify for the 2-20 General Lines Agent State License. Property/casualty insurance will be studied including auto, fire and allied lines, workers' compensation, and more. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to sit for the Department of Financial Services examination.

2-15 Life/Health Qualification

This 40-hour course exposes students to various phases of life, health and accidental insurance, disability and medical. Successful completion qualifies students to sit for the state exam.

Registered Customer Service Representative

After successful completion of this 40-hour course, students can secure a customer representative license and are exempt from the state examination.

Accredited Claims Adjuster

After successful completion of this 40-hour course, students may obtain a license to adjust property and casualty claims in an insurance agency or company and are exempt from the state examination.

4-10 Title Agent

New to the title insurance industry or have less than one year of experience? The Florida Department of Financial Services requires that you take and pass the 40-hour Title Agent Licensing Qualification Course prior to sitting for the state exam.

24-Hour Class D Unarmed Security Officer Training

Topics include legal issues/liability, observation techniques, report writing, emergency procedure, crime and accident prevention techniques, ethics/professional conduct, patrol techniques, fire detection suppression, and life safety.

16-Hour Class D Unarmed Security Officer Supplemental Training

Topics include public relations, courtroom procedures, interviewing techniques, fundamentals of personal security, interpersonal communications, professional communications, traffic direction, crowd control, and special problems for security. This course completes the 40 State required hours for Unarmed Security Officer.

28-Hour Class G Armed Security Officer Training

This course provides the additional State-mandated training for armed security officers. You will learn basic skills in the safe handling of firearms for security officers.

Certified Nursing Assistant Training

The Certified Nursing Assistant Training program at CFCC is designed to prepare students for employment as Nursing Assistants. This program offers a broad foundation of knowledge and skills that prepares students for an expanding role in the health care environment.

Phlebotomist

This course is designed to prepare participants to work in laboratories and blood banks. Students will receive classroom, skills lab and clinical training. The course focuses on safe and efficient work practices and obtaining correct blood specimens from adults and children.


 

Early Childhood Education

Pre-school Teacher

Do you like children? Would you like to make a difference in a child's life? Become a pre-school teacher in four months. Learn age-appropriate activities, positive guidance techniques, classroom management skills, and parent relationships. Earn a FCCPC Equivalency credential now by taking 120 hours in four class sessions. A Florida Child Care Professional Credential can articulate to 6 credit hours in the A.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education.
